On the midsummer weekend we took part in two reenactment events – in Jomsborg Fortress and in a medieval picnic in Bródno park in Warsaw. It turns out that the capital is no short of events and attractions with a medieval vibe! The historical picnic in the Bródno forest is unique due to the very well-prepared and diverse educational activities. Friendly archaeologists tell stories about objects from thousands of years ago, warriors animate teams of small Vikings, and interesting lectures and shows take place in the special educational zone throughout the day. “When Bródno was a fortress” is a truly family event with many attractions for children.
